SHIPPING RATES BY ZONE FUNCTION
The shipping rates are used by the
Shipping Screen (;). These rates are
supplied with the program and should not
be changed.
Code/Zone (:)
The pricing code is the ship-method code/zone. Example:
UG/2 is UPS Ground Zone 2. Codes AM and PM must end with a
"#" for ounces or an "L" for pounds. A1 has two records
with the second record ending with an A. Zone 0 on codes
P1 and P3 calculate in ounces for packages weighing less
than a pound. Codes A1 and PL calculate in ounces.

This is the description of the ship
method and zone.
OPTIONS (:) xx/ Record Code the Option is c:z<#. c is Rutine#. 1 Calculates rate using optional z ship code, or xx if z not specified & zipcode to get the zone. If weight is < the optional #, The weight multiplied by 16 to get ounces Weight is rounded up. Ship Method (xx), Zone, and # when weight is in pound with the ># option is used as the code for the rate record to find the rate. 2 UPS Ground Residental/Commercial Rate with rural adder. 9 No Calculating Used for Pick-UP Code Freight etc.
xx/z Record the option is the code for a linked rate record
Weight, Rate, of Package (:)
The weight calculates in pounds or oz as specified
by the calculating Method entered in the option.
method code is AM or PM ending with a #, P1 or P3 with a zone of 0, or A1 or PL, in which case the weight calculates in ounces.
When the Ship Method Code is U/, this field is used for UPS charges as designated on the screen.
Charge (:)
This is the shipping charge for the weight of the
item.
