When you press D, a message appears at the bottom of the screen: "Enter file name:" Enter the disk device you wish to print to followed by a colon (:), followed by a name (not more than 8 characters with no spaces) to distinguish the file. For example, you may want to print the Inventory Listing to hard disk device C. You would select D to print to disk and when asked to enter file name you would type: C:INVLIST. Some reports are sorted. These run in background, which means that as soon as you press "P" to print, the submemu screen will reappear, and you can continue using the computer while it sorts and prints the report. Avoid changing data which would affect the report while it is in progress.
